50 First Dates
The Story
Henry Roth is a real ladies man and has been breaking the hearts of the female tourists of Hawaii for quite a while. One day he meets Lucy at a local cafe. She seems different than the girls he usually dates and she lives on the island. He decides to ask her out on a date. Everything went perfect and they even spend the night together. But the next morning Henry is in for an unpleasant surprise. Lucy doesn’t remember anything and starts freaking out.

While Henry has to win Lucy over every day, since she is suffering from a short-term memory loss, he has to come up with a new idea each day to introduce himself to her. This makes the movie quite different than other romantic comedies and creates some fun moments. I have to admit, after a while this progress starts to become a bit repetitive, but still the movie has a lot of funny parts. It is really nice to see that the end of the movie isn’t an average happy ending. They found a solution, but did not magically change Lucy’s situation.

I totally love this movie though it makes me sad to think she will never really remember anything, how hard it would be to be her family.
I liked this movie too, though it does get a hair repetitive. Fun though. One of the better Adam Sandler movies IMHO.
I absolutely love this movie. But then again, I am a huge fan of both Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. I don’t think I ever have “not” liked one of their movies.

I’m definitely NOT a Sadler fan, but this is one I actually enjoyed and bought the DVD.
this is one of my fav. romantic movies. Although it isn’t as intense like the other highly rated romantic movies but this movie have all that which makes its my fav movies over all other romantic movies like notebook or walk to remember.
Also this adam and Drew as couple are magic….. also loved them in Wedding singer … i would like to place them with other great pairs like Meg ryan and tom hanks and etc.

I am big fan of Adam and Rob.Everyone in the movie have jus lived their character.ITS A MUST WATCH for all to learn many things in life fun,commitment,true love and many more.Jus seeing the movie for few minutes on HBO made to drive down & pick all the movies of adam in a go.Hats off to adam,i am waiting to watch if you can beat the magic that you have created in this movie.All the best.
