Ewan McGregor joins Amelia and first photos

Ewan McGregor has signed to co-star in 'Amelia,' a biopic about Amelia Earhart. Hilary Swank and Richard Gere joined the movie last month and the crew already started filming in Toronto, Canada. Earhart was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic and mysteriously disappeared in a flight to the Howland Island. But the movie will focus on her early years and her affair with Gene Vidal, portrayed by McGregor. Below you can find the first production photos. 'Amelia' is targeting a Fall 2009 release.
