The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 is an upcoming American action film written by David Koepp and directed by Tony Scott. The film is a remake of the original thriller novel The Taking of Pelham One Two Three by Morton Freedgood and its two film adaptations. Production of the remake began in March last year, and the film will be released on June 12th. Armed men hijack a New York metro in demand of a hefty ransom. As the authorities try to negotiate with the hostage takers they wonder how the hijackers plan to even get away.
