The deals aren’t final yet, but it looks like MGM found their Three Stooges.
As rumored earlier, Sean Penn is in talks to play Larry. Benicio Del Toro is in talks to play Moe. And, quite surprisingly, Jim Carrey is in final negotiations to play Curly.
And apparently he’s already planning to go from his normal elastic self, to a 40 pounds heavier Carrey.
Production is starting this Fall and MGM is targeting a 2010 release.
