Although some people already consider actors and actresses Gods, the new movie Percy Jackson is taking it to another level. In the potentially interesting book adaptation of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, Pierce Brosnan, Uma Thurman, Sean Bean, Kevin McKidd and Melina Kanakaredes will all play Greek gods.
Chris Columbus, the director of the first two Harry Potter movies, is directing the movie for Fox. About Percy Jackson, the half-son of Poseidon who has to prevent a war amongst gods in modern-day America.
Pierce Brosnan will play Chiron, Uma Thurman will be Medusa, Sean Bean will be Zeus, Kevin McKidd will play Poseidon and Melina Kanakaredes will star as Athena.
Aries, Persephone and Hades have yet to be cast and the movie will be released in February next year. And since there are several books, Fox might turn this into a franchise.
