I imagine some Hollywood execs having a meeting and saying something like: “well, sir, we’ve pretty much milked every 90’s movie with a sequel by now.” Then some guy says: “well, let’s reboot the franchises.” “Well, sir, we’ve already rebooted every popular franchise in the 90’s as well.” The room goes silent for a while when the brightest guy in the room says: “what about the 80’s?”
Yeah, more and more 80’s movies are getting sequels. Ghostbusters is getting one. Ridley Scott today said Alien might be getting one as well. And now Wall Street. There has been some talk about it before, but Fox now confirms Oliver Stone will be back to direct, with Michael Douglas reappearing as Gordon Gekko.
But what about Charlie Sheen? Well, he probably won’t be back, but there will be a new kid Gordon Gekko takes under his wing. And it might be Shia LaBeouf. He’s currently negotiating a hefty paycheck and we should know more soon, since they’re planning to start shooting Wall Street 2 this summer.

What the hell has donald trump got to do with wall street ? is Oliver stone just getting random stars to get a good leage of viewers for good cash and to be honest i havent seen Susan Surandon and Charlie Sheen on set yet have any of them done any of there scenes yet cause there close to wrapping the movie ? Im worried there a bit behind but i might be wrong
