Ben Kingsley’s tricks as Georges Méliès

Ben Kingsley plays a fictional version of Georges Méliès in the film Hugo. Méliès started making short films in 1896 and created over 520 short films in under two decades. He’s famous for being the first filmmaker to use certain visual tricks. The reason he’s also called the Father of Special Effects.
