Taking a break from her role as Elizabeth Swann in the Pirates franchise was a pretty interesting choice. One that made it possible for Keira Knightley to take on other, more serious roles, like Ruth in last year’s Never Let Me Go and Sabina Spielrein in A Dangerous Method. Spielrein, a young Russian, developed a relationship with Carl Jung when she was admitted in a mental hospital he worked in. She became a student of Jung and many believe she influenced both Carl Jung's and Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytical work.
